Ever since its creation, the Hotel Le Saint-Christophe in La Baule has been there to host young guests on their seaside holidays. In our family rooms, children have their own separate bedroom with bunkbeds, where they can discover books and wooden toys from the moment they arrive. For lovers of a good book, there’s a library with a wonderful collection of picture books and longer children’s books from the “Bibliothèque rose” and “Bibliothèque verte” series. Near the restaurant is a small lounge brimming with a number of treasure, including toys and board games.

Children’s Dinner

Each evening in July and August, Children’s Dinner is one of the famous traditions of Le Saint-Christophe. It’s part of our family hotel’s tradition, and is sure to delight young and old alike! Your children will be able to meet up with their new holiday friends and tell them all about their day's adventures over a meal specially conceived with them in mind by the chef, and under the watchful eye of one or more babysitters.
During this time, parents can enjoy a peaceful dinner as a couple or with friends.

Sailing schools and beach clubs

You’ll find numerous sailing schools and beach clubs all along the bay. Sailing schools offer introductions or courses in different nautical sports during the week.
Children aged 6 and up can try the Optimist dinghy, while older children can test out a catamaran. Most of the beach clubs also offer a “baby club” for children aged 3 upwards. They come with a heated pool for swimming lessons.

The salt marshes of Guérande

An exceptional example of natural and artisanal heritage, the salt marshes of Guérande are the perfect place for a magnificent family walk, either alone or with a guide. Discover superb landscapes, unique eco-diversity, and the age-old role of the salt marsh worker. Terre de sel organises six family tours for different age groups. They consist of a tour, explanations from a naturalist, and some fun experiences.

The Océarium of Croisic

A few minutes from the hotel, visit one of the largest aquariums in France. A unique experience that will make you discover the oceanic wealth of the whole world: Australian sharks, tropical fish, penguins... The numerous animations and games for children will make the little visitors spend an unforgettable day!
